Run Strong is a class-based 28-day training plan designed to supplement your running. For £30 you’ll have access to 2 x 40 min live classes which will progress week on week for four weeks; that’s just £3.75 a class. Workouts will utilise body weight only and focus on strength, stability, core and mobility, starting with an appropriate warm up.
Classes will take place on Wednesday’s at 7pm and Sunday’s at 9:30am and will run on Zoom. You will receive the meeting ID and password when you purchase the membership. There will also be a private Facebook group with additional fitness content and all classes will be uploaded here after the session (in case you can’t make it).
Q. What if I miss a class?
A: I’d encourage you to join the live classes as much as possible however if you are unable to make one you can watch it back on Facebook. The workouts will be uploaded to our private group asap after the class.
Q: More than one person in my household want to join in. Do we need separate memberships?
A: No. Just buy one per household and use one device to view/attend the classes.
Q: How long is each workout?
A: The workout it self will be less than 30 min. I’d allow 40 min for the ‘class’ so we can say hello and get a warm up in.
Q: Do I need to get an account with Zoom?
A: No, you’ll need the app if you intend to join using a tablet or mobile but you don’t need to make an account.
Q: I’m brand new to running, will the classes be too hard?
A: Absolutely not. I will offer regressions and progressions for all available exercises so you can work to your own ability.
Q: I am used to lifting weights. Will this be hard enough for me?
A: We will manipulate different variables to increase the intensity of exercises. These will be offered as a progression in most cases.
Q: How many classes are there in total?
A: There will be two classes a week for four week. So eight in total. They will take place on a Tuesday (7pm) and Sunday (9:30am).

Q: Do I need any equipment?
A: Not at all, we’ll use our body weight in the workouts. As long as you have something to lie on and a chair handy you’re all set.
Q: How will these workouts help me get quicker?
A: Running is an high load activity and supplementing your running with strength training will increase your body’s ability to produce force and bear load. This will lead to improved performances and fewer niggles or injuries.
